Water Unites Us: A Message of Conscience from Three Schools Around the World

International Water Day, celebrated every March 22, reminds us of the importance of this vital resource for life on the planet. It is not just a liquid that quenches thirst, but an essential element for health, nutrition, ecosystems, and climate balance. However, water is not always accessible to everyone, and its conservation has become a global challenge.

This year, students from the Centre Périscolaire de Montchapet in Dijon, France; the École Primaire de Vignoles, also in France; and the Unidad Educativa Mariscal Sucre in Torotoro, Bolivia, joined forces in a short video raising awareness about water conservation. Thanks to the support of United School, this initiative connected children from different parts of the world with a common goal: to protect this indispensable resource.

Water: A Treasure We Must Care For

Through their messages, the students expressed the need to value every drop. From France to Bolivia, their reflections remind us that:

Water is not infinite, and its waste affects millions of people.

Access to safe drinking water remains a global challenge, especially in rural communities.

Caring for water is caring for life, since without it, neither people nor nature could survive.

A Single Message

Despite being on different continents, the children shared a common sentiment: water is a right and a responsibility for all.

Together, they created a clear and direct message: water should not be taken for granted, but rather cared for with respect and awareness.

A Huge Thank You

This project would not have been possible without the initiative of United School, which allowed these three schools to connect and make this exchange of ideas possible. Their support has been instrumental in helping these children not only learn about the importance of water, but also become ambassadors of change in their communities.

A Commitment That Never Ends

International Water Day invites us to reflect, but also to act. Every person has the power to make a difference, whether by turning off a tap on time, preventing the contamination of water sources, or promoting equitable access to this resource.

Because water is life, and protecting it is our duty.
