Kreskanta Programs

We promote reading and access to culture.

Books for Everyone

Books for All
Books for All is a program with the primary goal of providing accessible reading spaces to communities that face geographic and logistical barriers to educational and cultural resources. The program aims not only to distribute books but also to promote the habit of reading, foster intellectual development, and create a rich cultural environment. Through reading corners, the Kreskanta Foundation ensures that no community, no matter how remote, is excluded from the benefits of knowledge and culture.

Eco-club Torotoro

Inspired by the United Schools programme and the enthusiasm of a group of young people who are committed and concerned about the environment, the Torotoro Eco Club was born. This group is dedicated to promoting concrete actions and participating in demonstrations in favour of a healthier planet. The club organises environmental awareness activities, such as clean-up campaigns, reforestation and sustainability education. Through their work, they seek to empower the community to adopt greener practices, thus contributing to the preservation of the natural environment and the well-being of future generations.

Library
Community Service

Also known as “La Petite Bibliothèque”, this small library, located in the town of Torotoro, is open to the entire community and features an internet access space. In addition to offering specific workshops in areas such as reading, writing and the arts, the library serves as a key operations centre for the Kreskanta Foundation, facilitating the coordination and execution of various educational and cultural projects in the region. Its aim is not only to provide a space for learning, but also to strengthen the community fabric and promote local development through access to information and culture.

As part of our commitment to the community, we have created the Torotoro.world website, an information page dedicated to the municipality of Torotoro, which is not only our home, but also a National Park of great importance. This portal offers detailed information on the natural and cultural wealth of Torotoro, highlighting its impressive landscapes, its lush nature and its potential as an adventure tourism destination. In addition, it provides useful resources for visitors, promoting the sustainable development of the region and encouraging the conservation of the environment, while strengthening local identity and responsible ecotourism.
