The Kreskanta Foundation, established as a non-profit entity under the laws of Bolivia, is governed by Decree No. 373/2024, issued in Potosí on June 12, 2024. This decree formally establishes the creation of the Foundation and defines its structure, purposes, and operation in accordance with the legal regulations in force in the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
The main objective of the Kreskanta Foundation is to promote education and culture, with special emphasis on hard-to-reach communities in rural and urban areas, always respecting the principles of equality, equity, and sustainability. The activities of the Foundation are aimed at providing educational and cultural resources, promoting social inclusion and sustainable development, in alignment with the Political Constitution of the State and other applicable regulations.
The Foundation is subject to the supervision of the corresponding authorities, complying with all fiscal and legal obligations established by the Law on Non-Profit Organizations and other applicable provisions. The Foundation is also committed to maintaining transparent financial management, with internal and external audits that guarantee the responsible use of resources.
In compliance with Decree No. 373/2024, the Foundation has a Board of Directors in charge of making strategic decisions and managing its resources, ensuring the execution of its programs in accordance with its mission and objectives. The Foundation is also committed to respecting the rights of beneficiaries, guaranteeing accessibility and equity in the distribution of its services, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, or any other condition.
Any legal dispute related to the Kreskanta Foundation will be resolved in accordance with Bolivian laws, with the competent jurisdiction being the courts of the department of Potosí, in accordance with current regulations regarding foundations and non-profit associations.
